Spicy top notes of clove and allspice blend with earthy notes of tobacco leaf, bay leaf and teakwood. Warm base notes of black pepper, patchouli and smoked oud round out this bestselling bold, complex scent.

Infused with natural essential oils: cedarwood, patchouli, black pepper, pimento berry, clove, and vetiver.

CANDLE CARE:

This will ensure you get the most out of your candle.

• Trim all wicks to 1/4" before you light your candle each time.
• Burn your candle long enough so a full wax pool forms around the entire jar edge to prevent wax tunneling.
• Burn your candle for no longer than 4 hours at a time.
• Keep out of drafty areas like air vents, fans, windows. Keep away from children, pets and hot surfaces.
• Never leave any lit candle unattended.

Fresh scent, great throw

I purchased this candle at the Squirrel Hill nigh market. The owner of the candle shop was so nice, and the candle smells awesome. It's really fresh and when you light it, it really fills up the room (not too intense but also detectable, unlike many other candle companies I've tried). Can't wait to purchase more around the holidays!!

Warm, inviting, long-lasting scent

My mother-in-law purchased a Tortuga candle for me at a pop-up market a few months ago. We have it on a shelf in a large space in our home and this wonderful scent is pleasantly present in the space even when it is not lit. We recently purchased several more for other spaces in our home and for gifts.

delicious, unusual scent

I was walking by Fjord and Fable's booth last month at a local popup market, and the aroma drew me over. I'm not sure how to describe Tortuga, but it's a wonderful scent. Sometimes candle scents fade quickly, but not this one. I have the (unburned, so far) candle by my workspace and enjoy the scent every day.
