Gaia is considered the ancestral mother of life and the personification of Earth in Greek mythology. We have named our unscented candle after Gaia, because as she is the mother of life, an unscented candle is the mother of all candles. It is not until after fragrance is added, that life is breathed into them and they begin to influence thought and adventure through scent.

At Fjord and Fable, we value quality and process. We know that when you burn a candle, you're not just releasing the fragrance into your home, but also whatever else is in it. So, we only use 100% natural soy wax, premium fragrance and essential oils, and lead-free, zinc-free cotton-core wicks when crafting our hand poured candles.

Additionally, all of our 8oz candles are poured into restaurant grade rocks glasses. Once the candle breathes its last flame, it can be repurposed into a rocks glass for your enjoyment of your beverage of choice.
